Alpski smučarski klub Kranjska Gora (Alpine Ski Club Kranjska Gora- ASK) was established on 11th September 1983. Before that club was a brach of the Sport Club Kranjska Gora. Main preocupation of ASK is work with kids, their education and coaching of perspective alpine skiers from the youngest categories to the worlds' top skiers like Jure Košir, Urška Rabič and Andrej Šporn.

ASK Kranjska Gora took over organization of the Pokal Vitranc World Cup races in 1992 and made Pokal Vitranc as one of the most recognized and succesfull international sporting events today in Slovenia.

The 49th Pokal Vitranc will be held on Saturday 30th (GS) and on Sunday, 31th January 2010 (SL).
